Retaliatory drone and missile attacks struck several United States military facilities across the Middle East, launched by Iran's military and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The strategic strikes targeted American communication systems, fuel depots, and advanced radar arrays, including Patriot and C-RAM installations, positioned at key bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The extensive offensive, launched in response to recent foreign aggression against Iranian infrastructure, successfully downed an American MQ-9 drone over Andimeshk.

In Kuwait, the multi-layered assault bombarded the Ali Al Salem airbase, directly hitting key early-warning radar arrays and personnel gathering sectors. Concurrently, unmanned aerial vehicles targeted the Sheikh Isa airbase in Bahrain, successfully striking critical communication nodes and Super Hawk radar installations. Similar drone formations targeted the Azraq airbase in Jordan, damaging primary fuel assets and fixed radar networks.

The United States military responded with an intense wave of precision air strikes across multiple provinces in Iran. The counter-offensive focused heavily on southern coastal positions, including Bandar Abbas and Greater Tunb Island, intending to degrade maritime capabilities within the strategic Strait of Hormuz. American munitions also struck central facilities in Khondab and the Semnan airport, leading to the collapse of windows and localized infrastructure damage.

The destructive exchange resulted in significant disruptions, forcing maritime traffic within the Strait of Hormuz to slow to a trickle as non-Iranian commercial vessels resorted to navigating without active transponders. Local medical facilities bore the brunt of the heavy bombardment, with over 200 patients evacuated from the Shahid Baghaei Hospital in Ahvaz following regional strikes. International efforts to mediate the conflict face growing obstacles as regional airspace and critical infrastructure continue to absorb heavy damage from both sides.
