Sri Lanka Cricket announced that it took steps to terminate the agreement with the Jaffna Kings team of the Lanka Premier League.
The organisation stated that this action was taken on allegations of violating anti-corruption provisions.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka Cricket further mentioned that the company holding the organiser's ownership must assume all responsibilities of the Jaffna Kings team, including settling outstanding payments due to players.
