The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today ordered that the fundamental objections filed by Member of Parliament Keheliya Rambukwella in connection with a case filed against him by the Bribery Commission be rejected and to take the case up for hearing.
This case has been filed by the Bribery Commission in relation to an incident where the former Minister used Rs. 230,984 of the Printing Corporation, during the time he served as the Minister of Mass Media to pay off his mobile telephone bill.
The case is to be taken up for hearing on June 28 this year.
