An order was given today for the case filed against former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to be taken up daily before the three-member judge bench of the High Court starting from the 15th of October.
This was when the case filed by Attorney General against seven defendants including former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa for misappropriation of Rs. 33.9 million of public funds for the construction of the D. A. Rajapaksa Memorial and Museum in Medamulana including several other charges was taken up for hearing at the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar today.
The three-member panel of judges comprised of justices Sampath Abeykoon, Sampath Wijeratne and Champa Janaki Rajaratne.
Former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa appeared at the three-member special High Court at around 9.30 am for the hearing.
