Eight including the Chairman and Secretary of Katana PS infected

Eight persons including the Chairman and Secretary of the Katana Pradeshiya Sabha have been infected with the coronavirus.

Katana Administrative Public Health Inspector S.A.U.T. Goonetileke stated that the Pradeshiya Sabha has been temporarily closed for 21 days.

Also, 09 staff members including 5 drivers of the Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha were diagnosed with the coronavirus. This includes the driver of the Pradeshiya Sabha chairman.

Meanwhile, 09 persons including the groom who were present at a wedding held in Pitabeddara on the 20th have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection.

The owner of the banquet hall, his wife, two employees and two guests were previously diagnosed with the virus.
