Kosgoda Tharaka killed in a confrontation with the police

Police Spokesman stated that Tharaka Perera Wijesekara alias "Kosgoda Tharaka", who was under the custody of Western province North Crimes division has died in an incident that happened at Rendapola in Meerigama police area this morning: 

Kosgoda Tharaka who was a leading underworld figure died due to a confrontation with the police during an operation.
