The Government of Japan has agreed to provide employment opportunities for 1,000 Sri Lankan youth on agricultural farms in Japan.
Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Japan Sanjith Gunasekera stated that another Memorandum of Understanding will be signed within the next two weeks in this regard.
The Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau has planned to provide technical training including language training to the youth selected for these employment opportunities.
