Iraj Weeraratne's house in Kirulapone has been attacked by a group of people yesterday (10).
According to reports they have thrown stones at the house.
It is reported that the house was slightly damaged due to the attack.
One of his neighbour's told the Hiru news team that more than 50 people had gathered for the attack.
He further added that security forces and police had been deployed in the area at the time of the attack.
Iraj Weeraratne, who returned home after the attack and released a video on social media, said that the house that was attacked was his mother's house.
