The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) has stated the current status of restoring the Lanka Government Cloud (LGC) services, which caused numerous government websites to become inaccessible.
ICTA reports that several LGC services are still experiencing continuous disruptions.
Crucially, ICTA confirms that no data loss or security breach occurred as a result of the incident.
ICTA engineers and service providers are working jointly around the clock to correct the service disruption.
Manual alternatives are still available to the public for some affected services, such as obtaining certificate copies from Divisional Secretariats.
The next phase of LGC modernisation and expansion, which began in October 2025, is reported to be successfully underway.
ICTA stated that full recovery is expected soon, and services will be re-enabled in phases to ensure stability.
ICTA emphasised its full commitment to restoring all services quickly and with optimal performance.
