The Department of Meteorology anticipates an increase in rainfall across several parts of the island starting the day after tomorrow, Thursday, December 4.
The Department indicates that this increase in rain will be particularly noticeable in the Northern, North Central, Eastern, Uva, and Central Provinces.
This weather pattern is expected as the Northeast Monsoon conditions are anticipated to gradually establish across the island over the next few days.
Meteorologists have urged the public to remain vigilant and pay close attention to the future forecasts and announcements issued by the Department of Meteorology regarding this weather change.
