Legal measures will be taken if various opinions expressed result in an impact on the independence of the Attorney General's office, stated Minister of Justice and National Integration, Attorney Harshana Nanayakkara, in Parliament today (23).
The Minister made these remarks while responding to a question raised under standing orders by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
The statement emphasises the administration's commitment to maintaining the integrity of the legal office amidst ongoing political discussions.
