Chamal’s younger son to be arrested

The Criminal Investigation Department received orders to arrest and produce Samindra Rajapaksa, the youngest son of former Minister Chamal Rajapaksa, before the court.

The Colombo Fort Magistrate issued the directive after naming him the third suspect in the case of wide body aircraft (Airbus) procurement.

Reports indicate that the suspect currently resides in the United States.
