Rainy conditions will likely affect the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, and Uva provinces, as well as the Nuwara Eliya and Matale districts today(3) according to the Department of Meteorology. Showers or thunderstorms are predicted for several areas in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with the Galle and Matara districts, after 2:00 PM, with some locations potentially receiving heavy rainfall exceeding 50 mm.
