COSCO suspends shipping to Middle East

Foreign media reports indicate that COSCO, the Chinese shipping and logistics giant, has suspended its shipping operations to several key Middle East routes.

The suspension applies to routes travelling to and from major ports in the region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait.

According to the company, this decision was driven by the escalating conflict in the Middle East and the strategic closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which is a critical gateway for global oil and cargo shipments.
