'JVP supporters attacked finance ministry secretary's residence' - Sugeeshwara

Supporters of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) carried out the dung and egg attack on the residence of Finance Ministry Secretary Harshana Suriyapperuma, according to Nava Janatha Peramuna Leader Sugishwara Bandara.

The statement followed a protest held yesterday (28) in front of the Secretary's house. Bandara noted that a situation now exists where a party's own supporters are targeting their leaders with dung attacks.

According to Bandara, information suggests that Harshana Suriyapperuma is a dual citizen and lacks the academic degree he claims to possess. He further alleged that "Thieving Anura Kumara" is exploiting the nation's total wealth, property, and resources. He described Anura Kumara Dissanayake as someone who uses the pretext of conflict to effectively plunder the country.
