Fuel prices hiked again

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation increased fuel prices effective from today.




92 Octane petrol rose by Rs.12, bringing the new price to Rs.410 per litre.




95 Octane increased by Rs.15 to Rs.470.




Auto diesel went up by Rs.10 to Rs.392 per litre.




Super Diesel saw a Rs.15-hike to Rs.458.




Kerosene price also increased by Rs.10 per litre to a new market price of Rs.265.




Sinopec, meanwhile, followed suit by raising Octane 92 petrol by Rs.12 and auto diesel by Rs.10 per litre.




The Chinese fuel supplier’s 95 Octane Petrol and Super Diesel, however, will remain at their current prices of Rs.487 and Rs.600 rupees, respectively.
