Fever-related illness forces closure of four schools

Four schools belonging to the Deniyaya Education Zone will remain closed today (7) and tomorrow (8) following a decision by the Deniyaya Zonal Education Director.

The move follows advice from health authorities regarding the risk of the fever spreading among students and teachers.

The affected institutions include Mara/Deniyaya National School, Mara/Deniyaya Matthews Bilingual Maha Vidyalaya, Mara/Siddhartha Primary School, and Mara/Deniyaya Rajapaksa Maha Vidyalaya.
