Sri Lankan rupee slumps to lowest since last 2023

The selling price of the US Dollar reached Rs. 329.92 today (14), according to exchange rates released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

This marks the highest selling price recorded since December 27, 2023, when the rate stood at Rs. 330.38.

Market analysts note that this sudden increase drew significant attention within the market, as the dollar remained relatively stable over the past several months.
