Graduates call for immediate entry into teaching service

Graduates in Education stream from state universities staged a protest this morning (08) in front of the Presidential Secretariat, demanding their prompt absorption into the teaching service.

The protesters called for immediate action to integrate education degree holders into the national teaching workforce.

Following the demonstration, a group of representatives was given the opportunity to hold discussions with a senior official at the Presidential Secretariat regarding their concerns.
