Sallay unlikely to face any threat, MP says

Suresh Sallay is highly unlikely to face any threat to his life, says National People's Power Member of Parliament Dewananda Suraweera.

The Member of Parliament stated this while replying to a question asked by journalists on whether there is a risk to Sallay's life.

The MP stated that enforcing the law against the Easter attackers is a demand of society, and the government is executing that task.

MP Suraweera further mentioned that personal vendettas or political retribution are not applied when enforcing the law in such a manner.
