Several areas in the Colombo District will experience a 24-hour water disruption starting Wednesday night (24).
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that Padukka, Homagama, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, and Pelanwatta will be affected by the shutdown, which runs from 8 p.m. on Wednesday to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The board further noted that water will be supplied under low pressure to Maharagama during this period.
The disruption is due to essential maintenance work being carried out on the main supply pipeline running from Kalatuwawa to Boralasgamuwa.
