CSE-listed companies report decline in earnings

The total earnings of 271 companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange recorded a decline during the quarter ended March this year. According to the latest report released by First Capital Research, a financial analysis firm, the total earnings of these companies show a significant year-on-year drop of 11.4% compared to the corresponding period last year.
