Five-vehicle crash causes traffic chaos on Southern Expressway

Five vehicles collided with each other at the 31st-kilometre post on the Southern Expressway between Galanigama and Dodangoda. The Southern Expressway Traffic Police stated that several people sustained injuries in the incident.

Two buses and three cars travelling towards Matara were involved in the collision.

The vehicles crashed into each other.

The incident caused heavy traffic congestion on the Matara-bound lane of the Southern Expressway.
