A Sri Lanka Transport Board bus travelling from Colombo to Badulla plunged into an approximately 20-foot precipice near the Diyatalawa railway crossing early this morning.
Around 42 people sustained injuries and were hospitalised following the incident.
The police stated that 36 men and 6 women were among those hospitalised.
