A total of 18,129 dansal are currently registered islandwide for the Poson festival, according to the Public Health Inspectors' Association.
The secretary of the association, Chamil Muthukuda, requested dansal organisers to meet the public health inspector in charge of their respective areas to obtain the necessary guidelines for the dansal.
