Ven. Naramapanawe Ananda Thera new Chancellor of Kelaniya University

Venerable Naramapanawe Ananda Thera, Deputy Chief Incumbent of the Asgiriya Chapter of the Siyam Nikaya, has been appointed as the new Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya.

The appointment takes effect from today (2).

The official letter of appointment was handed over to the Thera by the Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon.
