Rakitha Rajapaksa, son of former Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa, and former Samagi Jana Balawegaya Horana organiser Charith Abeysinghe, and former Civil Aviation Authority Director Aruna Warunahandige appeared in court today (3).
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) arrested the three suspects in connection with a bribery scam involving organised criminal Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, also known as ‘Harak Kata’.
Following their previous appearance before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, the court ordered them remanded until today (03).
