Female inmates detained at Negombo prison transferred to other prisons

All female inmates detained at the Negombo prison were transferred to other prisons.

Prisons Commissioner and Prisons Media Spokesperson A.C. Gajanayake stated that 166 female inmates were transferred in this manner.

They were directed to the Wariyapola, Bogambara, Angunakolapelessa, and Kuruwita prisons.
