2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination on August 09

All arrangements are in place to hold the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, conducted to select students for schools and award bursaries, on Sunday, August 09.

The Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka announced this.

Accordingly, the examination is scheduled to be held at 2,723 examination centres islandwide.

There, time is allocated from 09.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. for Paper II, and from 11.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. for Paper I.

The attendance register of candidates who applied for this examination was sent to the Zonal Education Offices to which the relevant school belongs, the Department of Examinations stated.

Furthermore, if any amendments are to be made to the information of applicants mentioned therein, facilities are provided to make those amendments online via the official websites of the Department of Examinations from today (23) until August 03, the announcement stated.
