Dengue cases surpass 82,000 as death toll rises

The National Dengue Control Unit reported that 82,011 dengue patients have been recorded so far.

A total of 26,636 dengue cases were identified in July alone.

According to the unit, the total number of deaths caused by dengue has reached 61.

The National Dengue Control Unit noted that 47 of those deaths were women.

In addition, six school-aged children have died due to the dengue virus.
