The Police Kennel Division has announced that 26 service dogs previously attached to the Kandy Asgiriya police kennel division will be auctioned tomorrow for private ownership.
The event commences tomorrow at 9 a.m., as announced by the police kennel division.
Prospective buyers will get opportunities to inspect these dogs tomorrow between 8 to 9 a.m. prior to the auction.
Officials noted that it is a constituted standard procedure for the division to auction service dogs following their retirement from official duties.
