A 40-foot shipping container found washed ashore on the Rathgama beach this morning.
The container measures approximately 40 feet in length, Rathgama Police said, with officers suspecting it fell from a vessel at sea.
Meanwhile, a similar type of a container washed ashore yesterday to Induruwa beach.
The Police suspect it is to be an empty container that fell into the sea from a ship in the waters off Colombo on Saturday.
