Inmate dies following unrest in New Magazine prison

An inmate has died following the unrest that arose within the New Magazine prison yesterday (06).

Eleven inmates who sustained injuries during the unrest were admitted to the prison hospital.

Nine inmates have been transferred to another prison, according to reports.

The unrest arose among a group of inmates held in the E cell, authorities informed.
