The unit's Acting Director, Dr. Kapila Kannangara, mentioned that between 200 and 300 patients are reported daily at present.
The number of dengue patients reported so far this year stands at 90,625, while the number of reported dengue deaths is 65.
The highest number of dengue patients so far this year was reported last month, reaching 29,973, the National Dengue Control Unit declared.
