Sri Lanka Transport Board initiated bus services from yesterday to facilitate the devotees to travel to attend the annual festival of the historic Madu Church in Mannar.
In addition, special train services are also scheduled from today, the Railway Department stated.
Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Transport Board bus services commence from the Negombo bus stand, and seats can be reserved via the telephone numbers 0771056620 and 0770840240.
A special train is scheduled to depart from the Negombo railway station at 9 p.m. today.
The annual festival of the Madu Church commences on August 15.
