A 12-year-old boy died yesterday (16) falling from an apartment building in the Colombo 09 area within the Maradana police division, the Police Media Division mentioned.
Police said that investigations were launched based on a message received by the Maradana Police Station regarding the incident.
The deceased is a 12-year-old child, a resident in Colombo 09.
Police say that investigations conducted so far it was revealed that near the swimming pool, located on the top floor of this apartment building, the deceased was looking at the surroundings with several other children when the child fell from an open location on that floor.
Further investigations regarding the incident are being conducted by the Maradana Police.
