A 19-year-old student who sat for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination in the Biology stream tragically passed away.
The deceased was a resident of Arasadi Road, Kandarmadam, Jaffna.
While answering his paper to pursue his future dream at the examination centre on August 10, he suddenly fell ill.
After receiving medical treatment, he returned home but fell severely ill again on the night of August 16.
He passed away upon admission to the hospital, and the Jaffna Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
