726 suspects were arrested under the anti-drug program conducted island-wide yesterday (25) under the "Ratama Ekata" program, Police Headquarters says.
Police Headquarters says that among them, 03 suspects are currently being detained and interrogated, and 02 persons were directed for rehabilitation.
According to those raids conducted, 222 heroin raids, 287 ice drug raids, 161 cannabis raids, and 54 drug raids including narcotic pills, kush, and hashish were carried out, Police Headquarters says.
Police say that this operation was carried out to completely suppress drugs spreading in the country through multifaceted approaches, including disrupting drug supply, minimize the demand for drugs, expanding operations, rehabilitating addicts, implementing prevention programs aimed at preventing drug abuse, and empowering the community against drugs.
Accordingly, Police Headquarters says that this program is being conducted island-wide on the instructions of the Inspector General of Police.
