Sun to be directly overhead in five cities today

The sun will be directly above five cities in Sri Lanka around 12.10 pm today (02), according to the Department of Meteorology.

Anamaduwa, Moragollagama, Dambulla, Manampitiya, and Valaichchenai are the nearest places over which the sun will be overhead today.

The sun will remain directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka until September 07, owing to its apparent southward relative motion.
