Vietnamese carrier Vietjet is offering promotional fares ahead of the launch of its Colombo-Ho Chi Minh City service, with one-way Economy fares starting from USD 90, inclusive of taxes and fees.
The promotional campaign, running until 21:30 on August 8, 2026, Sri Lanka time, covers Vietjet’s flight network, including the new Colombo-Ho Chi Minh City route. The service is scheduled to commence on August 18, 2026.
The promotional fares are available for travel from September 5, 2026 to March 31, 2027, excluding public holidays and peak travel periods and subject to market conditions.
Vietjet is also offering discounts of up to 30% on Business and SkyBoss fares on its direct international services under the promotional code BUSB88. The offer is available for travel from August 18, 2026 to March 31, 2027, excluding connecting itineraries.
The airline said the promotion is part of its 8.8 Double Day Sale campaign, with bookings available through its website, mobile application and other sales channels.
The Colombo-Ho Chi Minh City service is expected to expand direct air connectivity between Sri Lanka and Vietnam, while providing additional access to Vietjet’s wider international network.
The promotion comes as Vietjet was named Best Hybrid Airline in South Korea, one of its key international markets.
