Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau looked smitten with each other on the red carpet at the premiere of her new concert film at the Tribeca Festival — and she didn’t hold back when it came to expressing how she feels about him.
The 41‑year‑old pop superstar, who was first linked to Trudeau last year, arrived hand‑in‑hand with the former Canadian Prime Minister for the debut of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris.
It marked their first official red‑carpet appearance as a couple, and Perry made it clear just how much he means to her.
During a post‑screening Q&A, the singer called Trudeau as 'the love of my life.' Speaking about the 91‑date tour captured in the film, Perry explained that she and Trudeau were already together by the time she performed the Paris shows in November 2025.
'I am very in love,' she said. “That show was after I met the love of my life, and I felt very anchored by that. I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite — I fly super high — and sometimes I need to be grounded. Having that anchor makes me feel whole.'
Perry also spoke candidly about the emotional turmoil she faced during the tour, following her separation from fiancé Orlando Bloom, which became public last year.
'Last year was one of the hardest of my life,' she shared. 'Grief doesn’t discriminate. There were days that were really, really hard, but I kept going because I made a promise to my fans, to my daughter, and to myself.'
Despite the challenges, she described the tour as the most successful of her career — not because of numbers, but because of personal growth.
The singer revealed that this was the first tour her five‑year‑old daughter Daisy joined her on.
