A long-awaited collaboration between Lego and one of anime’s biggest franchises could finally be happening, with new leaks claiming Dragon Ball Z is about to receive its first official set, with more to come in 2027.
Lego has expanded into more licensed properties than ever over the last few years, and anime has become one of its fastest-growing categories. Following the success of themes like One Piece, and Pokemon, plenty of fans have been hoping Dragon Ball would eventually join the lineup.
Now, according to multiple well-known Lego leakers, that wait could finally be over as reports suggest the first-ever Dragon Ball Z Lego set is on the way later this year, with even more releases reportedly planned beyond that.
Lego Dragon Ball Z Shenron Diorama reportedly arriving this November
Rumors surrounding the set have been circulating among several prominent Lego leakers for months, but according to Brick Built Blogs in a recent YouTube Short, the first release will be none other than a Dragon Ball Z Shenron Diorama.
The leaked details claim the set will launch on November 1, 2026, and will feature 1,760 pieces with a retail price of $199.99. As with all Lego leaks, those details have not been officially confirmed by the Lego Group, and we don’t currently have a leaked look at the set’s final design.
However, according to the leak, the display model will include a Young Goku minifigure alongside Shenron, Dragon Balls, and Nimbus clouds, so expect it to be a stunning build for superfans.
What’s more, if the reports prove accurate, then this may only be the beginning. Multiple sources also claim Lego is preparing a full Dragon Ball Z theme for 2027, suggesting the Shenron Diorama would act as the franchise’s debut before a larger wave of sets arrive next year. However, those plans also remain unconfirmed until Lego makes an official announcement.
