Dickwella, Karunaratne named in Sri Lanka A Asian Games squad

Niroshan Dickwella and Chamika Karunaratne are included in the Sri Lanka A squad for the upcoming Twenty20 tournament at the Asian Games in Japan, according to cricket sources.

Young players who stood out in domestic Twenty20 matches, including Vishen Halambage, Treveen Mathews, and Garuka Sanketh, missed out on selection for the squad.

Vishen Halambage emerged as an aggressive batter, earning recognition as player of the tournament in last year's domestic Twenty20 competition and recently scoring a fast half-century from 15 balls.
