A 24-hour special bus service involving both SLTB and private buses is now in operation to transport devotees to the Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya, Colombo, for the exposition of the Sacred Relics.
The service utilises the Old MOD Ground parking lot and the Lake House roundabout parking area as key transit points.
Devotees arriving at the Colombo Fort Railway Station can reach the Lake House roundabout parking area by walking along D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, avoiding the Need to go through Pettah.
All arrangements are finalised for the exposition at the temple. Public viewing of the Sacred Relics will begin at 6:00 AM on the 5th and continue until 7:00 AM on the 11th.
