The President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association, Gemunu Wijeratne, says the association has decided to limit bus operations from tomorrow (08) onwards due to the ongoing controversial situation surrounding bus fares.
Speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo today, he stated that approximately 25% of buses are already voluntarily off the road at present.
He added that the decision has been taken in response to the prevailing uncertainty over fare-related issues.
