Train derails at Rambukkana Station

A train scheduled to travel from Rambukkana to Panadadura derailed at the Rambukkana railway station.

The Deputy Superintendent of Traffic of the Railway Department, Asanka Samarasinghe, stated that the train bound for Panadura from Rambukkana faced this derailment.

Despite the situation, railway authorities confirmed that no train delays would occur because they cancelled the affected train.

Furthermore, operations to re-rail the train commenced.
