The Colombo High Court ordered the case filed against 11 defendants, including former Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran and former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, over the Central Bank bond incident to be called again on September 9.
The case was called today (10) before the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar bench comprising Priyantha Liyanage, Viraj Weerasuriya, and Thilakarathne Bandara.
When the case was called on June 26, High Court Chief Judge Manjula Thilakarathna stated in court that the Trial-at-Bar bench hearing this case was not properly constituted.
The Trial-at-Bar bench was named and the case was called today.
