Iran confirms attack on US base in Oman

Iranians are confirming they hit an American military base in Oman for the first time since the ceasefire was announced on April 8.

During the 40 days war there were three attacks on Omani oil and energy facilities, but the Iranians back then were saying they were not behind these attacks – because Oman was one of the mediators and has hosted talks between the US and Iran several times.

But Iran is now confirming it targeted aircraft carrier refuelling platforms at the American naval base in Oman.
