Italian fashion group Armani posted a slight fall in revenue last year and a core profit increase in what it described as a "difficult" year for the global industry, Il Sole 24 Ore quoted CEO Carlo Marsocci as saying on Wednesday.
• In 2025, the company's revenue fell 2.8% to 2.192 billion euros ($2.56 billion), while total turnover, including direct licensee sales, was 4 billion euros, Marsocci said.
• Trends in the first quarter of 2026 were in line with the previous year, he added, with unfavourable currency movements weighing on performance.
• Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation rose 3.2% to 152.7 million euros, while operating profit increased to 52.6 million euros year on year, he said.
• Marsocci said there was no update on the group's shareholding structure, adding that interest in the Armani group remained strong.
• "We have not started meetings with the three potential buyers, and there are no tensions among the family members," Marsocci said in a separate interview with WWD magazine, denying some online rumours.
• Armani is due to report its figures for 2025 later on Wednesday.
