Sri Lankan customers will soon have access to the XPENG L03, an intelligent electric Coupe SUV that has made its global debut simultaneously across China, Europe and 64 international markets.
Introduced to Sri Lanka by Evolution Auto, the authorised distributor of XPENG in the country, the L03 is now available for pre-orders and is set to bring the latest smart electric vehicle technology to the local market.
Developed for international markets from the outset, the global launch marks a significant milestone in XPENG’s efforts to expand its international footprint. The L03 combines intelligent technology, premium comfort, advanced safety features and electric performance.
Ashan Wickramasinghe, Head of Marketing at Evolution Auto, said, “The arrival of the XPENG L03 marks an important milestone in Sri Lanka’s electric mobility journey. The XPENG L03 reflects that commitment by giving Sri Lankan customers access to world-class intelligent EV technology that is already shaping the future of mobility in international markets.”
The L03 was designed under the direction of internationally renowned automotive designer JuanMa Lopez, whose portfolio includes Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Genesis and SEAT. His design expertise is reflected in the vehicle’s sporty fastback styling, Coupe SUV silhouette and aerodynamic profile, with a drag coefficient of 0.228 Cd.
Powered by an advanced electric drivetrain, the L03 offers a driving range of up to 600 km under the NEDC cycle, maximum torque of 264 Nm and a top speed of 180 km/h.
The technology-focused cabin features a 15.6-inch intelligent touchscreen and a 26.8-inch head-up display. The vehicle is also equipped with XPILOT intelligent driving assistance, adaptive cruise control, lane centring control, automated parking assistance, a 360-degree surround-view camera, smart voice control and over-the-air software updates.
The interior is further enhanced by a panoramic Starship glass roof and heated and ventilated front seats with memory functions.
Safety remains a key focus of the XPENG L03, with the vehicle equipped with a range of intelligent safety and driver-assistance technologies.
The growing global demand for XPENG’s smart mobility platform follows the success of the MONA M03, which sold more than 280,000 units in China within 22 months.
